Clubhouse Programs
The 100 Prevention Clubhouse provides services for youth ages 11-17 in LaGrange that address some of the issues youth and the community face: drug and substance abuse, gang violence, academic failure and health-related issues.
Our Clubhouse Programs
The Clubhouse provides educational services using the Too Good For Drugs and Violence curriculum which teaches life skills, (setting goals, making decision, managing emotions, bonding and relationship, communication, conflict resolution, drug awareness) and provide tutoring and mentoring, community services projects, family activities, and clubhouse activities: which includes woodshop, sewing, music, arts and crafts, fun games (pool, x-box) all in a welcoming and learning environment.
We provide free transportation to and from the clubhouse!

How to join
Participants are referred by the school and community. Children ages 11-17 (must be in sixth grade or higher) who need help with academics and/or could benefit from learning new skills, mentoring, peer to peer interaction, or improving social development skills are eligible to apply

Arts and Crafts
The value and positive impact of arts and crafts are great for learning of all ages. The activities are fun and engaging and may increase youth creative ability, confidence, and ability to focus. The activities develop the skills of making objects for decoration and practical uses by hand.

Cooking
Cooking encourages healthy outcomes for youth by providing opportunities for promoting good nutrition, and engaging them in fun activities such as baking where they learn how to prepare to bake, and become familiar with ingredients and proper measuring. The end result will show their skills in baking.

Music
Youth learn to play music, work together as a team and learn the value of discipline.

Robotics
Our program provides participants the opportunity to indulge in science and technology through competing in the FIRST LEGO League regional robotics competition. This inspires our youth to pursue an academic or professional career in science, technology, math and engineering.

Scouting & Venturing
Scouting & Venturing is a program for young people that builds character, trains them how to be responsible citizens, and develops personal fitness and helps build future leaders by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun.

Sewing
Youth learn basic sewing techniques on how to set up a machine, thread a machine, and basic stitching. This course is an excellent opportunity to combine your creativity with your technical skills that could turn into a rewarding new career.
Family Activities & Events
Our family events are themed, fun, and age-appropriate for everyone. This is our time to bond and have lots of FUN.
Community Service Projects
We provide our youth with a way to give back to the community, learn the value of helping others, and work together through community projects that benefit not only self but the community, and individual needs as well.
Career Development
We teach middle and high school age children self-worth, by developing their skills which can enhance or advance their careers.
Field Trips
Our outings are educational and fun, and provide constructive activities that are appropriate for all age groups.

Mentoring
Mentoring addresses the social, emotional, and cultural needs of children by providing one-on-one, and group sessions. Our mentoring efforts focus on building essential life skills that are needed to become productive and contributing citizens.

This program provides tutoring for youth grades sixth, seventh, eighth, and high school to enhance their testing success.

Georgia Teen
Georgia Teen is a youth leadership program that offers a variety of educational, personal growth, recreational and social experiences. Participants get a taste of college life, learn life skills, meet new friends, and have fun. The program is held yearly at the Oxford College.
